Do you know that Iran helped Al Qaeda to perpetrate the 9/11 attacks?  Or that it helped to murder and maim thousands of U.S. soldiers?  Or that the Iranian “supreme leader” who oversaw Iran’s involvement in those acts of war against us, is the same man with whom our leaders negotiated this “peace deal”?

Most urgently: Are your Senators aware of these facts, and the others that are documented on this page, as they prepare to vote on the Iran “deal”?  Contact your Senators today to find out – and tell them to stand against the Iran “deal,” which will give the world’s #1 terror state the biggest payday in history.

(1) Iran helped Al Qaeda to perpetrate the 9/11 attacks

Summary: On December 22, 2011, after a seven-year trial and investigation, a U.S. federal court ruled that the evidence shows:

Iran provided “essential, direct, material support for the 9/11 attacks.”
Havlish v. bin Laden, et al; Conclusions of Law #116, p.22.

“Iran provided direct support to al Qaeda specifically for the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Washington, DC (Shanksville, Pennsylvania) on September 11, 2001.”
– Havlish v. bin Laden, et al; Conclusions of Law #19, p.51.

Soon after, the court ordered Iran to pay a $7 billion judgment to the 400 surviving family members of those killed in the 9/11 attacks, who filed the suit (Havlish v bin Laden, et al). Iran refused to pay this judgment. In reaction, the court seized a $500 million New York office building that was owned by Iran, auctioned it off, and gave the proceeds given the victims.

Below are (a) News items that validate these assertions, and (b) The court ruling and related documents.

(2) Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamanei, has supported Al Qaeda for more than twenty years – yet we are told he is now America’s “peace partner”

Background:

  • Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, with the military leaders he commands.

In Iran, the “supreme leader” oversees all branches of the government, the military, the media and education, according to the totalitarian dictates of shariah. The supreme leader is appointed by Iran’s ruling clerics (the “Assembly of Experts”), and is far more powerful than the president, who is chosen via a popular election, and only handles limited administrative functions.

  • Iran’s current supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was first appointed in 1989, and has ruled without interruption ever since.

Both the 9/11 Commission Report and the Havlish trial revealed conclusive evidence that since the early 1990s, Iran and al Qaeda had set aside their sectarian differences (Shia vs. Sunni Islam) so they could work together to facilitate, support and execute acts of terrorism against the U.S. and Israel, whom they consider their common enemies. The Havlish ruling contained the following statement:

Ayatollah-Khamenei-crop“(Iran’s) provision of material support (to Al Qaeda, for the perpetration of the 9/11 attacks, came from) Iran’s Supreme Leader, the Ayatollah Ali Khamanei, and his subordinates.”
Havlish v. bin Laden, et al; Conclusions of Law #20, p.51.

Further, the ruling determined that Iran’s support for Al Qaeda continued for at least ten years after the 9/11 attacks:

“Since the 9/11 attacks, and continuing to the present day, Iran continues to provide material support and resources to al Qaeda.”
Havlish v. bin Laden, et al; Conclusions of Law #27, p.52.

Today:

The U.S. and other major nations have been negotiating the nuclear weapons “deal” with Khatamei since 2013 — and have allowed him to practically dictate its terms:

(3) For more than ten years, Khamenei and Iran’s top leaders have openly stated their intention to destroy America and Israel

The following is just a small sampling of what Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and its elected president, Hassan Rouhani, been repeatedly saying is one of their highest missions: to destroy America:

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader

“You heard ‘Death to Israel’, ‘Death to the US.’ You could hear it. The whole nation was shaken by these slogans […] So we ask Almighty God to accept these prayers by the people of Iran.”
July 10, 2015

“It is the mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to erase Israel from the map of the region.”
January 15, 2001

“There is only one possible solution to unrest in the Middle East, namely the annihilation and destruction of the Zionist state.”
December 31, 1999

Hassan Rouhani, president of Iran (h/t UANI)

“Saying ‘Death to America’ is easy. We need to express ‘Death to America’ with action. Saying it is easy.”
May 8, 2013

“The beautiful cry of ‘Death to America’ unites our nation.”
May 1995

“If your definition of terrorist groups are Hezbollah(*) and Hamas, they are not terrorists. They are the kinds of groups who are fighting for the freedom of land.”
September 12, 2002  *Hezbollah is the Iran-funded terrorist group that murdered 241 American soldiers in 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon. Both it and Hamas have openly declared their intention to destroy America and Israel.

Gen. Mohammad Naghdi, senior Iranian military commander:

“Our ideal is not [nuclear] centrifuges but the destruction of the White House and the annihilation of Zionism [Israel].”
January 5, 2015

(4) Under Khamenei, Iran has broken nearly every agreement it signed with the international community concerning its weapons programs, and other key issues

Iran hanging gays in the streets, for the “crime” of being gay.

It would be one thing if America began negotiating with Iran only after its leaders had turned a new leaf, and began honoring their agreements with the international community.

Instead, America’s leaders are rewarding Iran not for honoring its agreements, but for violating them at practically every turn — including even on the temporary nuclear “deal” it struck with the U.S. in 2013. Yet we continue to be told that despite its history of broken promises, we can trust Iran to uphold the terms of this final nuclear “deal.” Judge for yourself:

(5) Iran helped terrorist groups to murder and maim thousands of American soldiers since 1983

Arlington National Cemetery and V.A. hospitals contain the grim results of Iran’s shooting war against America’s soldiers, launched more than thirty years ago, and which continues to this day. Below are just a few articles and reports that validate this assertion. Why are our leaders attempting to negotiate a “deal” with the same Iranian regime that murdered and maimed our soldiers, for which it neither apologized nor paid restitution to the victims or their families?

Going forward, from here

How many more American soldiers and citizens will be murdered and maimed with the $150 billion we’re about to give Iran, which even Vice-President Biden admitted on September 3 it may use to perpetrate more terror attacks?

The fact is, the Iranians have publicly stated that they plan to continue funding terrorism, just as they are now, and have been for decades:
